FiberLert Live Fiber Detector
Detects active fiber signals for testing ports, cables and polarity.
No more guessing if the fiber is live. Quickly check fiber activity, polarity, and connectivity. No setup or interpretation required – just place in front of the fiber end face or port and a light and tone will indicate an active fiber. This pocket sized tool tests single-mode, multimode UPC and APC patch cords and ports using a “non-contact” detector. It eliminates the need for expensive test equipment for simple live/dead detection and stops cross contamination in dense patch panels.
